Fall is one of my favorite times of the year, in fact; maybe it is my favorite time of the year. I love looking out my back door and seeing the vast array of colors on the trees. Once the crispness in the air sets in, my cooking starts to change, we start having soups, stews, and "home cookin"! I love a good bowl of chicken and dumplings, chicken pot pie, chicken fried steak and this recipe, Chicken, Sausage, Potatoes & Peppers in the oven. And this is after the meal (Hubby told me to take this picture and post it!)... Commentskathie Thu, 13 Nov 2008 06:38:57 Funny!! randy Fri, 14 Nov 2008 08:09:57 I'm going to try this! We love chicken, this is a new way for us to eat it. Usually I just buy it rotisseried already, but this will better now that I don't mind heating up the kitchen. I HATE to cook in the summer. I too, am getting that good feeling again about cooking, the air is crisper and I'm not so hot in the kitchen. Yipeee! And I'll have to share my meatball soup with you! Yummy! (with red cabbage!) randy Sat, 22 Nov 2008 03:39:33 Ok, I bought the ingredients and am going to make it tomorrow night. Leave a Reply |
